A: I have accepted who I am. I have learned to let go of a lot of the guilt I carried around with me for so long. I've learned how to ground myself through the use of meditation, and how to focus my energy, like a laser beam as opposed to a fire hose. I have also learned the values of honesty, compassion and forgiveness. These things have allowed me to now see things from all angles instead of just one perspective.
I also have learned to take time for me, and in my free time I go fishing and enjoy the great outdoors as a method of relaxation. My work in giving presentations for the Montreal Diversity and Employment Equity Panel, also gives me a sense of balance and meaning to my life, and I need that. I find it very rewarding.
A: I am a carpenter/cabinet maker by trade.
