Ontario is very popular among the skilled trades industry: According to a Statscan report, 39% of Ontarians are involved in some form of skilled trade, making Ontario the best place to hire and recruit for this industry.
YAST hopes to capitalize on this trend in Ontario by educating youths with disabilities that Ontario is very prosperous in terms of skilled trades employment. This is a result of a younger population, and such trends as the growing number of construction in Ontario as well as immigration.
