Manitoba’s agriculture and land provides ideal conditions for mining and diamond drilling as well as other skilled trades in the province which has been a growing industry for a very long time
In order to keeps this proud history going, projects like YAST are needed, to help connect employers with youth who want a career in the Skilled Trades.
YAST also encourages youth with disabilities who have always loved skilled trades or maybe have never even considered them before to become more aware and involved about the opportunities available to them. On the YAST website you can find information on training needed nation-wide in the Skilled Trades Sector and success stories to encourage and inspire.
Other resources, such as Skills Manitoba has provided widely accessible print and online forms.
